                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu çalışma Erzurum İli Pasinler ilçesinde çerezlik ayçiçeği yetiştiren işletmelerin etkinliklerini ve bunu etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesini amaçlamaktadır. Bunun için anılan bölgede ayçiçeği yetiştiren işletmelerde Basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemine göre belirlenen 87 işletme ile anket yapılarak veriler elde edilmiştir. Elde edilen verilere Bulanık Veri Zarflama Analizi (BVZA) uygulanarak etkinlikleri belirlenmiştir. Bulunan etkinlik skorları ile işletmelere ait sosyo demografik faktörler Tobit regresyon analizine tabi tutularak etkinliğe etki eden faktörler belirlenmiştir. Çalışmanın sonucunda işletme genelinin ortalama BVZA etkinlik değeri 0,94, klasik VZA etkinliği ise 0,84 olarak belirlenmiştir. Etkinliğe etki eden faktörler ise yapılan tobit analiz sonucunda ailedeki çalışabilir birey sayısındaki ve ayçiçeği ekim alanındaki artışın etkinliğe olumlu etki ettiği belirlenmiştir. Çalışma sonucunda elde edilen etkinlik skorları ve buna etki eden faktörler dikkate alınarak ayçiçeği üretiminde etkinliğin artırılabilmesi için işletmelerin yeterli işgücüne sahip olması ve ayçiçeği akim alanlarının artırılabilmesi için çeşitli destekler verilerek çiftçilerin teşvik edilmesi gerekmektedir. Bununla birlikte ekim alanının artırılabilmesi için kiracılık ve ortakçılıkla işlenecek olan alanlarda sözleşmelerin uygun bir şekilde düzenlenmesi, boş kalan arazilerin de üretime özellikle de çerezlik ayçiçeği üretimine tahsis edilmesi alınacak önlemler arasında yer alabilir.</p></abstract>

                            <p>This study aims to determine the efficiency of farms growing confectionary sunflower in Pasinler district of Erzurum province and the factors affecting it. For this purpose, data was collected by surveying 87 farms selected using simple random sampling in the region. Fuzzy Data Envelopment Analysis (FDEA) was applied to the collected data to determine their efficiency. The efficiency scores and socio-demographic factors of the farms were subjected to Tobit regression analysis to identify the factors affecting efficiency. As a result of the study, the average FDEA efficiency value for all farms was determined to be 0.94, while the classical DEA efficiency was 0.84. The Tobit analysis revealed that an increase in the number of working-age individuals in a family and an increase in the sunflower cultivation area had a positive impact on efficiency. Considering the efficiency scores obtained from the study and the factors affecting them, it is necessary to ensure that farms have sufficient workforce and to incentivize farmers by providing various supports to increase sunflower cultivation areas in order to increase efficiency in sunflower production. Furthermore, to increase the cultivation area, reasonable contract arrangements should be made for areas to be cultivated through tenancy and sharecropping, and unused land should be allocated to production, especially for confectionary sunflower production.</p></trans-abstract>
