INFORMATION ON STRATEGIES FOR ACHIEVING COMPLIANCE WITH THE GUIDELINES FOR QUALITY ASSURANCE IN NIGERIAN UNIVERSITIES

Abstract

This paper examines the strategies adopted for achieving compliance with the guidelines for quality assurance in Nigerian university system using descriptiveresearch method. It focused on the concepts of quality and quality assurance, quality assurance guidelines in the Nigerian university system and strategies adopted by the NUC, for achieving compliance with the quality assurance guidelines. The paper also highlighted the challenges hindering the effective achievement of compliance with the quality assurance guidelines and offered recommendations for improvement.
