<p>This study aims to determine the mathematics self-efficacy levels of engineering students and to examine whether these levels differ according to the variables of gender, department, grade level, and the type of university entrance exam. The research was conducted with 377 students enrolled in the faculty of engineering at a foundation university located in the Central Anatolia Region, employing a comparative relational survey design. The personal information form and the mathematics self-efficacy perception scale were used as data collection instruments. descriptive analyses were performed, and differences were examined through parametric tests. The findings indicate that students&#039; mathematical self-efficacy is at a “moderate” level and does not show a significant difference according to independent variables. Based on the results, it can be concluded that engineering education has been insufficient in enhancing students’ mathematics self-efficacy beliefs and that the connection between mathematics and engineering has not been adequately established during the educational process.</p></trans-abstract>
