<p>This study aims to make visible the interdisciplinary online collaboration processes in addressing complex sustainability-related problems. The research was conducted with 15 doctoral students from different disciplines using the case study design, one of the qualitative research models. Participants worked in groups through the Moodle learning management system and applied the six thinking hats technique. Data collected during the study were analyzed using content analysis and organized under four main themes: Interdisciplinary collaboration experiences, experiences with the six thinking hats technique, online collaboration experiences, and group representative experiences and leadership roles. The findings indicated that participants perceived disciplinary diversity as contributing to creativity and knowledge sharing; the six thinking hats technique as supporting the organization of critical, creative, and systematic thinking; and online collaboration as enabling flexibility and accessibility while also involving technical and communicative limitations.</p></trans-abstract>
