The CHAID (Chi-squared Automatic Interaction Detection) analysis is one of the decision tree methods, especially relationships between categorical dependent and independent variables in the diagnosis of which can be use as a useful tool. In this study, CHAID analysis is used to determine of factors affecting the behavior of individuals to invest. As a result of analysis, the most important factor of influencing whether or not to invest in individuals, individuals have been monthly income. Other factors are individuals’ investment climate perception, gender and whether to have children.

Karar ağacı metotlarından biri olan CHAID (Chi-squared Automatic Interaction Detection-Ki-kare Otomatik Etkileşim Belirleme) Analizi, özellikle kategorik düzeydeki bağımlı ve bağımsız değişkenler arasındaki ilişkilerin ortaya konmasında kullanılabilecek faydalı bir araçtır. Bu çalışmada CHAID Analizi, bireylerin yatırım yapma davranışlarını etkileyen faktörlerin belirlenmesi amacıyla kullanılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda bireylerin yatırım yapıp yapmamasını etkileyen en önemli faktör, bireylerin aylık geliri olmuştur. Diğer faktörler ise bireylerin yatırım ortamı ile ilgili algıları, cinsiyet ve çocuk sahibi olup olmamaları olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır.

Ethics Policy - JEFA applies the standards of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). JEFA is committed to the academic community ensuring ethics and quality of manuscripts in publications.
