                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu çalışmanın amacı, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin klinik uygulamaya uyumunu sağlamaya yardım edici/engelleyici durumları niteliksel fenomenolojik bir yaklaşım kullanarak değerlendirmektir. Bu araştırmada nitel araştırma deseni olan fenomenolojik araştırma tasarımı kullanılmıştır. Bu nitel araştırma bir devlet üniversitesinin sağlık bilimleri fakültesinin hemşirelik bölümünde öğrenim gören 60 gönüllü hemşirelik öğrencisi ile 15 Ocak-15 Şubat 2023 tarihleri arasında yapılmıştır. Görüşmeler bireysel olarak ve yüzyüze yarı yapılandırılmış form kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler, Colaizzi&#039;nin fenomenolojik analiz yöntemi kullanılarak yapılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde üç kategori (uygulama ortamından beklentiler, uygulama sırasında yaşanan zorluklar, klinik uygulamada motive edici faktörler) yedi alt tema (fiziksel açıdan, psikolojik açıdan iletişim, bilgi, süre, kişiler ve ortam) saptanmıştır. Hemşirelik öğrencileri uygulama sırasında ortam, teorik bilgi yetersizliği, uygulama süre kısıtlılığı gibi nedenlerden dolayı sorunlar yaşamaktadır. Ayrıca hemşirelerle ve diğer ekip üyeleri etkin iletişim kurmanın, hastalardan olumlu geri bildirim alınmasının, öğretim elemanlarının öğretici ve destekleyici yaklaşımlarının öğrencilerin motivasyonunu artırdığı belirlenmiştir. Uygulama süresinin daha uzun olması, yeterli öğretim elemanının olması, hemşirelerin daha etkin rol model olması, fiziki koşulların iyileştirilmesi önerilmektedir.</p></abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
                            <p>The aim of this study is to evaluate the factors that facilitate or hinder nursing students&#039; adaptation to clinical practice using a qualitative phenomenological approach. This study utilized a phenomenological research design, a qualitative approach. It involved 60 volunteer nursing students from the nursing department of a state university&#039;s faculty of health sciences, participating between January 15 and February 15, 2023. Data were collected through individual, face-to-face interviews using a semi-structured form. The data were analyzed using Colaizzi&#039;s phenomenological analysis method. The analysis identified three main categories—expectations from the practice environment, difficulties experienced during practice, and motivating factors in clinical practice. Additionally, seven sub-themes emerged, including communication, information, duration, and aspects related to people and the environment from both physical and psychological perspectives. Nursing students encounter challenges during clinical practice due to factors such as the environment, insufficient theoretical knowledge, and limited practice time. Effective communication with nurses and other team members, positive feedback from patients, and the instructive and supportive approaches of instructors were found to enhance student motivation. It is recommended that the duration of clinical practice be extended, the number of instructors be increased, nurses serve as more effective role models, and the physical conditions of the practice environment be improved.</p></trans-abstract>
