                                                                                                <abstract><p>Aim:To determine theopinions and solution of nurses working in pediatric clinics for problems theyexperience with student nurses in practice.Materialsand Methods: Thisis a qualitative descriptive study. Individual and audiotaped interviews were conductedwith twelve pediatric nurses. Data were acquired via semi-structured interviewsand voice recordings. Transcribed semi-structured interviews were qualitativelyanalyzed.Results:Four principalthemes emerged from the study: professionalism,role model status, malpractice possibility, and communication..Conclusion:The problemsthat nurses experience with student nurses in practice considerably affect the clinicaltraining dimension of the nursing profession. There is a need for new studies thatthoroughly qualitatively analyze problems that cause gaps between clinicalpractice and training in order to develop nurses who are more competent in thefield.</p></abstract>

                            <p>Giriş:Hemşirelik eğitimi, öğrencilere hemşirelikmesleğinin gerektirdiği özellikleri kazandırmayı amaçlayan, kuramsal bilgi, laboratuvarve klinik uygulamalara ilişkin eğitimleri içermektedir.Bu araştırmanın amacı pediatri kliniklerinde çalışan hemşirelerin uygulamada öğrenci hemşirelerleyaşadıkları problemlere ilişkin görüş ve çözümlerini belirlemektir,Yöntem:Araştırmakalitatif yöntem kullanılarak yapıldı ve çalışmanın örneklem grubunu, birhastanenin çocuk kliniklerinde çalışan, öğrenci hemşirelerin klinikuygulamalarında görev alan ve çalışmaya katılmayı kabul eden 12 hemşireoluşturdu. Araştırmanın verileri hemşirelerin, öğrenci hemşirelerin klinikuygulamalarında yaşadıkları sorunları ve çözüm önerilerini yazmaları içinhazırlanan yarı yapılandırılmış form ve yazılı formlardan elde edilen verianalizi sonrası odak grup görüşmesi yapılarak ile toplandı. Veriler yüz yüzegörüşme yöntemiyle toplanmış olup, odak grup görüşmesi sırasında ses kayıtcihazı kullanıldı. Bulgular:Çalışmadandört ana tema ortaya çıktı: profesyonellik, rol model durumu, yanlış uygulamaolasılığı ve iletişim.Sonuç ve Öneriler:Hemşirelerin uygulamada öğrenci hemşirelerle yaşadıkları problemler,hemşirelik mesleğinin klinik eğitim boyutunu önemli ölçüde etkilemektedir. Alanındadaha yetkin hemşireler yetiştirmek için klinik uygulama ile eğitim arasındaboşluklara neden olan problemleri niteliksel olarak analiz eden yeniçalışmalara ihtiyaç vardır.</p></trans-abstract>
