Journal of Innovative Transportation (JInnovTrans)

The Journal of Innovative Transportation (JInnovTrans) is an international, peer-reviewed, and open-access scientific journal that aims to serve as a forum for innovative developments, applications, and research findings in all areas of transportation science and engineering.

The journal publishes two issues per year — in July and December — and accepts only original research articles in English. Its mission is to promote the exchange of high-quality scientific knowledge and encourage innovation in the field of transportation.

Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to JInnovTrans undergo a single-blind peer-review process:

  • Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the field.
  • Reviewers remain anonymous to authors, while author information is visible to reviewers.
  • The final publication decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief, based on the reviewers’ recommendations and the author’s revisions.

The review process is designed to ensure fairness, objectivity, and scientific integrity in every evaluation.

JInnovTrans adopts a fully open-access publication model, making all published content freely available without any subscription or access charges. Readers may read, download, copy, distribute, print, or link to full-text articles under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

This policy ensures global visibility of published research and supports free exchange of scientific knowledge without financial or legal barriers.

Article Processing Charges (APCs) (for detail)

There are no submission, processing, or publication fees. JInnovTrans is supported by Süleyman Demirel University as a non-profit academic publisher and does not request payment at any stage of the publication process.

Plagiarism and Originality Policy (for detail)

All submitted manuscripts are screened using iThenticate plagiarism detection software before being sent for peer review.

  • Manuscripts with a similarity index above 25% (excluding references) are returned to authors for revision or rejected without review.
  • Only original and unpublished works that are not under consideration elsewhere are accepted for evaluation.
  • Authors are responsible for ensuring the authenticity and integrity of their research.

Copyright and Licensing Policy (for detail)

The copyright of all published articles remains with the authors. By submitting a manuscript, authors grant JInnovTrans the right to publish, archive, and distribute the article under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
