AĞIZ GARGARALARININ RESTORATİF MATERYALLERİN RENK STABİLİTESİNE OLAN ETKİSİ

Öz

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın amacı, kimyasal yapısı birbirinden farklı 6 çeşit ağız gargarasının estetik restoratif
materyallerin renk stabilitesi üzerine olan etkisini incelemektir.
Gereç ve Yöntem: 49 adet (10x2 mm) disk şeklinde örnek sırasıyla şu malzemelerden hazırlandı:
Biodent ve GC Gradia hibrid kompozit. Tüm örnekler 37° C'lik distile suda 24 saat süreyle inkübe edildi.
Daha sonra örnekler yıkandı, kurulandı ve başlangıç renk ölçümü için hazır hale getirildi. Başlangıç renk
ölçümleri CIElab renk sistemini kullanan bir spektrofotometre kullanarak L* a* b* değerleri ölçüldü. Örnekler
Türkiye'de ticari olarak satışı bulunan 6 ağız gargaraları (Klorhex, Listerine, Tantum Verde , Andorex
, Pharmol Zn, Gengigel) ile kontrol grubu için distile suda bekletildi. Her bir örnek 37° C'lik gargaralar
içerisinde 24 saat bekletildi. Daha sonra örnekler distile su içinde durulandı ve kurulandı. Her bir örneğe ait
renk ölçümü spektrofotometre (VITA EasyShade; VITA Zahnfabrik) ile ölçüldü.
Bulgular: Tüm örneklerde renk farkı saptanmış ve ağız gargaralarının materyallerde oluşturdukları renk
farkları istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bulunmuştur (p < .05). En yüksek AE değerleri Biodent estetik materyalinde
saptanmış ve gruplar arası AE değerleri arasındaki fark da anlamlı bulunmuştur (p < .05).
Sonuç: Klorheksidin ve Listerine gargaraları restoratif materyaller üzerinde renk değişimine neden olabilir.
