SUMMARY
A new restorative material with organic filling compound [«lsopast») was investigated to observe surface characteristics in experimentally prepared Block Class V cavities in extracted human teeth under scanning electron microscope in comparison with two composite materials currently used («Adaptic» and «Concise»). 15 Class V cavities were prepared on labial surface of noncarious, extracted human incisors and canines. The filling materials were manipulated according to the manifacturers recommendations. After application were the fillings polished using sandpaper discs and some fillings were brushed using toothpaste. The surface characters of the filling were examined using scanning electron microscopy. On the basis of the findings the results of polishing and effect of brushing are discussed.
