Akademik Girişimcilik Literatürünün Bibliyometrik Analizi

Öz

Girişimcilik türlerinden biri olan akademik girişimcilik son yıllarda literatürde sıklıkla çalışılan bir kavram olmuştur. Bu araştırmanın amacı, akademik girişimcilik konusunda uluslararası alanyazındaki makalelerin muhtelif parametrelerle bibliyometrik analizinin gerçekleştirilmesidir. Bu amaç çerçevesinde Web of Science veri tabanında yayımlanmış makaleler incelenerek elde edilen veriler Vosviewer yazılımı ile haritalandırılmıştır. Analiz sonucunda akademik girişimcilik ile ilgili en fazla makalenin yayımlandığı dergi “Journal of Technology Transfer”, en fazla atıf alan dergi “Research Policy” olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Atıf sayısı olarak Etzkowitz (2003)’ün araştırması en çok atıf alan makaledir. Ortak atıf ağında en sık atıf alan araştırmacının ise Shane (2004) olduğu saptanmıştır. Araştırmanın bu bulguları, girişimcilik alanında etkin rol alarak süreçlerini geliştirmek isteyen akademisyenler ve akademik girişimciliği teşvik etme noktasında ilgili olan kurum, kuruluşlar ve politika yapıcılar için büyük önem arz etmektedir.

Bibliometric Analysis of Academic Entrepreneurship Literature

Öz

Academic entrepreneurship, one of the types of entrepreneurship, has been a frequently studied concept in the literature in recent years. The purpose of this study is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of articles on academic entrepreneurship in the global literature utilizing various parameters. For this purpose, the data obtained by examining the articles published in the Web of Science database were mapped with Vosviewer software. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the journal in which the most articles about academic entrepreneurship were published was “Journal of Technology Transfer”, and the journal with the most citations was “Research Policy.” As for the number of citations, Etzkowitz's (2003) research is the most cited article. It has been determined that Shane (2004) is the most frequently cited researcher in the common citation network. These findings of the research are of great importance for academicians who want to improve their processes by taking an active role in the field of entrepreneurship and for institutions, organizations and policy makers who are related to the promotion of academic entrepreneurship.
