Stroke is a serious vascular event that occurs as a result of the occlusion or rupture of brain blood vessels and is one of the leading causes of disability in the community. Patients who experience a stroke often exhibit varying degrees of neuromuscular and sensory dysfunction on one side of the body. These conditions, arising from ischemic or hemorrhagic causes, adversely affect daily living activities and quality of life. As a result, physical activity levels are typically low among stroke patients. In post-stroke rehabilitation, it is crucial to encourage patients to participate in exercise programs to improve motor functions, enhance independence in daily life, and increase overall quality of life. This study was conducted to test the Turkish validity and reliability of the "Stroke and Exercise Preferences Questionnaire."
</trans-abstract>
