                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu çalışmanın amacı, Gümüşhane düğünlerinde yer alan yemek kültürü ve bu yemeklere eşlik eden ritüel uygulamaları kültürel miras perspektifinden incelemektir. Nitel araştırma yöntemiyle yürütülen çalışmada, Gümüşhane merkez köylerinde yaşayan 29 katılımcıyla yarı yapılandırılmış görüşmeler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular, düğün yemeklerinin yalnızca bir beslenme pratiği olmadığını, kültürel kimliğin aktarımı, toplumsal dayanışmanın güçlendirilmesi ve ritüel sürekliliğin sağlanması açısından önemli işlevler üstlendiğini ortaya koymuştur. Düğünlerde imece usulüyle hazırlanan pilav, etli nohut, dolma, lahana sarma ve siron gibi yöresel yemeklerin paylaşım ve bereketin sembolik bir ifadesi olarak değerlendirildiği belirlenmiştir. Yemeklerin hazırlanış sürecinde keyveni olarak adlandırılan deneyimli kadınların belirleyici bir role sahip olduğu ve bu kişilerin kültürel bilgi taşıyıcıları ile toplumsal otorite figürleri olarak kabul edildiği tespit edilmiştir. Modernleşme süreciyle birlikte düğünlerin salonlara taşınması, hazır yemek uygulamalarının yaygınlaşması ve imece geleneğinin zayıflaması ritüel bilincin giderek kaybolmasına yol açmaktadır. Çalışma bulguları doğrultusunda geleneksel düğün yemeklerinin belgelenmesi, imece geleneğinin sürdürülmesine yönelik farkındalığın artırılması ve kültürel bilginin kuşaktan kuşağa aktarılmasının desteklenmesi önerilmektedir.</p></abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
                            <p>The aim of this study is to examine the food culture and the ritual practices associated with wedding meals in Gümüşhane from a cultural heritage perspective. In this qualitative study, semi-structured interviews were conducted with 29 participants living in the central villages of Gümüşhane. The findings reveal that wedding meals are not merely a form of nourishment but play significant roles in the transmission of cultural identity, the strengthening of social solidarity, and the continuity of ritual practices. It was determined that traditional dishes such as pilaf, chickpeas with meat, stuffed vegetables, stuffed cabbage rolls, and siron are prepared through the imece tradition and are regarded as symbolic expressions of sharing and abundance. The preparation process is largely guided by experienced women known as keyveni, who are recognized as cultural knowledge bearers and figures of social authority. However, with modernization, the relocation of weddings to indoor venues, the spread of ready-made food practices, and the weakening of the imece tradition have led to a gradual loss of ritual awareness. Based on the findings of the study, it is recommended that traditional wedding meals be documented, awareness of sustaining the imece tradition be enhanced, and the intergenerational transmission of cultural knowledge be supported.</p></trans-abstract>
