Abstract

Studies about herbal products are increasing every day due to their rich biochemical content. Elaeagnus angustofolia is one of the best known plant species to have a strong biochemical substance spectrum. This work was performed to identify the some biochemical content of Eleagnus angustofolia. In this study, vitamins A, E, and C, total sugar content, inverted sugar content, cellulose content, amount of total protein, and fatty acid properties were studied. Our investigations revealed that Elaeagnus angustifolia has a strong content.
