Year 2017 ,
, 1 - 22, 09.01.2017
Hasan Küçükbay
Abstract
Benzimidazole derivatives are interesting heterocycles and are found in many naturally occurring products and various drugs. They exhibit several pharmacological activities such as antitumor, diuretic, fungicidal, bactericidal, antihelmintic, antiallergic, antihistaminic, vasodilator, hypotensive, spasmolytic activities and local analgesic.
Owing to the importance of these heterocyclic compounds, the aim of this review is to present the main aspects of the microwave synthesis methods of the benzimidazole derivatives unill 2013.
