In this paper, terpenic metabolites of Tanacetum abratonifolium are
reported.
Eight
known sesquiterpene lactones: tanachin (1),
tavulin (2),  tamirin (3),
spiciformin (4),  isospiciformin (5),
1β-hydroxy-6α-angeloxy-oxygermacra-4(5),10(14),11(13)-trien-8,12-olide (6), dentatin A (7), 1-β-hydroxy-6α-angeloyloxyeudesm-4(15), 11(13)-dien-8,12-olide
(8) as well as  α-amyrin (9) and β-sitosterol (10)
were isolated from the aerial parts of Tanacetum abratonifolium,
collected in East Turkey.
