Determination of Parameters in Fixed Bed with Industrial Waste Used as Adsorbent

Öz

In
this study, adsorption studies of aqueous solution of malachite green dye in
fixed bed using fly ash were carried out
. The
effect of adsorbent amount was investigated. Thomas, Adams-Bohart and
Yoon-Nelson models were used to evaluate the results obtained. In addition, the
correlation between the model and the experimental data was compared using
seven non-linear nonlinear functions, while the adsorption dynamics of the
fixed bed column were modeled.
