Zinc Ferrite Films Doped with Lanthanides for Gas Sensor Application

Abstract

Bu çalışmada çinko ferrit (ZnxFe3-xO4) filmleri dysprosium (Dy) ve erbium (Er) gibi lanthanidler ile katkılanmıştır. Bu işlem için çok ucuz ve kolay bir yöntem olan Kimyasal Püskürtme Tekniği (CSP)  uygun görülüp kullanılmıştır. Lantanidler periyodik tablonun 5d bloğunda bulunur. Gaz sensörleri, kullanım amaçlarına bağlı olarak çeşitli malzemelerden yapılabilir. Bununla birlikte, güvenilir bir gaz sensörü için genel şartlar yüksek hassasiyet, hızlı tepki ve iyi seçiciliktir olduğu bilinmelidir. 200 ° C sıcaklıkta çalışan Dy ve Er katkılı ZnxFe3-xO4 ince filmlerin100 ppm, 500 ppm ve 1000 ppm yoğunluğunda H2 gazına tepkisi düşük olup ve ayrıca 1800 s'de H2 gazına tepki hızı nispeten yavaştır. Elde edilen filmlerin X-Ray Difraksiyonu (XRD) ölçümleri 10 ila 70 derece arasında alındı. Atomik Kuvvet Mikroskopu (AFM) ölçümleri sonucunda yüzey morfolojisi hakkında bilgi elde edildi. Optik özellikler Double-Diffracted UV-VIS fotoelektron spektroskopisi ile ölçüldü. Gaz sensörünün cevabı için I-V (Van der Pauw) tekniği kullanılmıştır.
