In this era, where individual identities came to the forefront, traditional politics failed to respond to the evolving demands of individuals and the changing needs of society, influenced by modernization and globalization processes. One of the central themes of this study is the observation that environmental issues also began to intersect with politics during this period. Although the agendas emerging from this interaction were initially seen as opposition to capitalist values, they eventually found a place within liberal thought. The interaction between environmental concerns and liberal ideology led to the emergence of the concept of Green Liberalism, which can be interpreted as an effort toward reconciliation. This study aims to outline a framework regarding the political trajectory of the environmental movement and the formation of Green Liberalism. Adopting a qualitative research method, the study conducts a descriptive literature review and reveals how environmental movements have produced an ideological transformation and been repositioned within the political sphere.</p>
