                            <p>Posterior reversible ensefalopati sendromu (PRES) kadın doğum kliniklerinde ve yoğun bakım ünitelerinde preeklampsi, eklampsi ve HELLP sendromu ile ilişkili olarak görülebilen, parietal ve oksipital bölgelerde daha belirgin olmak üzere yaygın serebral ödem ile karakterize, uygun tedavi ile sıklıkla geçici olabilen bir durumdur. Etyolojisinde hipertansiyon, sitotoksik ilaçlar, preeklampsi veya eklampsi ve sepsis gibi sistemik hastalıklar yer alabilmektedir. Sendrom klinikte baş ağrısı, görsel semptomlar, nöbetler gibi değişik nörolojik bulgular ile ortaya çıkabilmektedir. Bildirilen olgular ile PRES sendromunun erken tanı ile geriye döndürülebileceği, ciddi tedaviye rağmen ölümcül olabileceğini ve multidisipliner bir yaklaşımın gerekli olduğu belirtilmeye çalışılmıştır.</p></trans-abstract>
