EXAMINING JOB SCHEDULING PROBLEMS IN FUZZY ENVIRONMENT: A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS
Abstract
Bibliometric analysis results evaluate the development of a field by examining publications, citations, and other metrics in scientific literature. Trends in the literature, important authors and the general development of the relevant field can be understood from the analysis results. In this research, all fuzzy job scheduling studies containing the words "fuzzy" and "scheduling" in the study title were scanned using the Scopus database. This database has a large corpus of data. As a result of the screening, bibliometric analysis of a total of 758 studies, including 481 articles and 277 conference papers, was made. The bibliometric package in the RStudio program was used for the analysis of the data. As a result of the bibliometric analysis, various analyses were made according to the year, author, keyword, source of publication, number of citations, institutions and countries of publication, and the current situation related to academic writing was examined. It is found that, the most research on fuzzy job scheduling problems have been published in 2010 and focus mainly on China, Taiwan, Iran, India, Turkey, and Japan. As a result, job scheduling problems in fuzzy environment is a very comprehensive field of study with an annual growth rate of 7.78%.
