İlahi sıfatlar, tevhit kavramının merkezinde yer alması dolayısıylaher bir âlimin ilgisini çeken bir konu olmuştur. Özellikle sıfat-zât ilişkisiçerçevesinde süregelen tartışmalar konuyu daha ilgi çekici hale getirmiştir. Allah’ınsıfatları konusunu kendi döneminde tartışan isimlerden birisi de Şemsüddînes-Semerkandî’dir (ö. 722/1322). Bu makalede temel amacımız, Şemsüddînes-Semerkandî’nin Allah’a yüklediği sıfatların neler olduğunu ve ilahi sıfatlartasnifinin İslam düşüncesindeki yerini tespit etmek ve sıfatlarla ilgili ortayaçıkan problemlere nasıl bir yaklaşım geliştirdiğini ortaya koymaktır. Bunedenle betimsel nitelikli bu çalışmada doküman taraması yapılarak müellifintemel kelam eserleri çerçevesinde içerikler tahlil edilmeye çalışılacaktır.Semerkandî’nin hemen her eserinde sıfatları tahlil ettiği ve tasnife tabituttuğu anlaşılmıştır. O sıfatları vucûdî ve ademî olmak üzere iki grubaayırmıştır. Ayrıca vucûdî sıfatları da hakikî ve izâfî olarak ayrıma tabi tutmuştur.Ayrıca o, fiilî sıfatları izâfî sıfatlar içerisine dâhil etmek suretiyle Mâtürîdîgibi subûtî sıfatlardan saymamış, bunun yanında da Eş’arî’nin fiili sıfatlarınhâdis olduğu görüşüne de katılmamıştır.
The subject of divineattributes have been attracted the attention of every scholar because of theircentrality in the concept of monotheism (tawhid). In particular, the ongoingdiscussions within the framework of the relationship between attribute andperson have made the subject more interesting. Shams al-Dīn al-Samarqandī isone of those who discussed the subject of God's attributes in his own time. Inthis article, our main aim is to determine the attributes that Shams al-Dīnal-Samarqandī attributed to Allāh, to point out the place of divine attributesclassification in Islamic thought and to reveal how to develop an approach toproblems arising from attributes. For this reason, in this descriptive study,we will analyze not only the content of the document but also the content ofthe author. It is understood that al-Samarqandī analyzed and classified the attributes inalmost every book. He divided the attributes into two groups as wujudī and ʿadimī. In addition, he distinguished thewujudī attributes as ḥāqiqī (true) and iḍafī (relative). Moreover, he did not count thesubjective attributes by including the actual attributes in the relativeattributes as did al-Māturīdī. al-Samarqandī disagreed with al-Ashʿarī 's view that theactual attributes were true.
