                            <p>The hospitality or lodging sector in business scope refers to a sector where environmental uncertainty and competition level is high and price discrimination used intensively and product life is short due to new products / services can be imitated in a very short period of time. This situation makes it compulsory that observing the internal and external environment sensitively and locating the customers’ expectations on the focus. Therefore, management accounting system and information provided by the system is becoming very important in terms of the hotel. Thus, management accounting practices and marketing practices used in hotel are expected to be effective on the performance of the hotel. In this context, this study aims to get findings for what level the management accounting and marketing practices applied by hotels operating in Turkey&#039;s Cappadocia region considered important by the hotel managers. Besides, the relationship between the overall performance level of the hotels and management accounting and marketing practices of these hotels is planned to be discussed</p></trans-abstract>

                            <p>kapsamında otelcilik veya konaklama sektörü, çevresel belirsizliklerin ve rekabet düzeyinin oldukça yüksek olduğu, fiyat farklılaştırmanın yoğun bir şekilde yapıldığı ve yeni ürün/hizmetlerin çok kısa bir süre içinde taklit edilebilmesi dolayısıyla ürün yaşam süresinin kısa olduğu bir sektörü ifade etmektedir. Bu durum, söz konusu sektör açısından iç ve dış çevrenin hassasiyetle gözlemlenmesini ve müşteri istek ve beklentilerinin işletmenin odak noktasına konumlandırılmasını zorunlu kılmaktadır. Bu yüzden, yönetim muhasebesi sistemi ile bu sistemin sunduğu bilgiler, konaklama endüstrisinde faaliyet gösteren oteller açısından oldukça önemli bir noktayı oluşturmaktadır. Dolayısıyla, otellerde kullanılan yönetim muhasebesi ile pazarlama uygulamalarının otellerin performansı üzerinde etkili olması beklenir. Bu bağlamda çalışmada, Kapadokya bölgesinde faaliyet gösteren otellerin yönetim muhasebesi ve pazarlama uygulamalarının söz konusu otel yöneticileri açısından ne ölçüde önemsendiği araştırılmaya çalışılacaktır. Yanı sıra söz konusu otellerin genel performans düzeyleri ile yönetim muhasebesi ve pazarlama uygulamaları arasındaki ilişkinin ve etkileşimin irdelenmesi hedeflenmektedir.Anahtar Kelimeler: yönetim muhasebesi, pazarlama, performans</p></trans-abstract>
