Makalenin amacı, Persepolis Antik Kenti Tachara adlı sarayın batı merdiveninde karşılaşılmış olan ve literatür tarafından Sakalar ile ilişkilendirilen 6 Numaralı Delegasyon’u incelemektir. Bulgular bölümünde söz konusu delegasyonun 3 üyesinin giyimi, dış görünüşü ve beraberinde getirdiği hediyeler tanıtılmıştır. Tartışma bölümünde “6 Numaralı Delegasyon Hangi Sosyal Gruba Mensuptur?” şeklindeki araştırma sorusuna hem literatürden hem de diğer Ahameniş rölyeflerinden yararlanılarak cevap aranmıştır. Bulgular sonucunda delegasyon bireylerinin kısa koni biçimli başlıklar, önü açık ve şeritlerle belirginleştirilmiş kaftanlar, orta genişlikte kuşaklar, diz altında hilal desenli bol pantolonlar, ayrıntısız ayakkabılar giydiği ortaya çıkmıştır. Saçları arkada top, önde alına yatay bir şerit; Sakalları çenede göğüse doğru uzayan; bıyıkları iki yana doğru uzun hilal şeklinde oluşturulmuştur. Hediye olarak Birey 2, iki adet Ahameniş tarzı bilezik, Birey 3, bir Med tarzı kaftan getirmektedir. Tartışma sonucunda delegasyonun mensubiyeti açısından Saka üst başlığında değerlendirilmesinin uygun olacağı ön plana çıkarılmıştır.
This study examines Delegation No. 6 depicted on the western staircase of the Tachara Palace at Persepolis, which has been associated with the Saka in scholarly literature. The findings section describes the attire, physical appearance, and gifts of three members of this delegation. The discussion section addresses the research question, "To which social group does Delegation No. 6 belong?" by analyzing both existing scholarship and other Achaemenid reliefs. The results indicate that the delegation members wear short conical headdresses, open-front kaftans accentuated with bands, mid-width cummerbunds, loose crescent-patterned trousers ending below the knee, and plain footwear. Their hairstyles feature a horizontal band across the forehead and hair tied in a bun at the back, while their beards extend from the chin to the chest, and their mustaches are shaped into long, curved crescents. Individual 2 carries two Achaemenid-style bracelets, and Individual 3 presents a Mede-style kaftan as gifts. The study concludes that the delegation’s affiliation is most appropriately classified under the broader Saka category, based on comparative analysis of headdresses and attire.
