                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu araştırmanın amacı Millî Eğitim Bakanlığı (2018), 37-78 Aylık Özel Eğitime İhtiyacı Olan Bireyler İçin Okul Öncesi Özel Eğitim Öğretim Programını, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri Cinsellik Bilgi ve Eğitim Konseyi’nin (Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States [SIECUS], 2004) belirlediği altı ana kavram çerçevesinde incelemektir. Bu araştırma betimsel türde olup veriler doküman analizi yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Öğretim programı incelenerek cinsel eğitimle ilişkili olan açıklamalar ve kavramlar belirlenmiştir. Veriler SIECUS’un (2004) belirlediği altı ana kavramda kategorize edilerek tablo haline getirilmiştir. Öğretim programında cinsel eğitim ve ilişkili konularda amaçların, gelişim alanlarının ve kazanımların bulunduğu görülmüştür. Öğretim programında cinsel eğitimle ilişkili açıklamaların SIECUS’un ana kavramlarından en çok kişisel beceriler; en az toplum ve kültür, insan gelişimi, cinsel davranış, cinsel sağlık ana kavramlarının altında bulunduğu tespit edilmiştir. Cinsel eğitime ilişkin açıklamaların daha çok sosyal-duygusal gelişim alanında olduğu saptanmıştır. Program cinsel eğitim yönünden genel olarak incelendiğinde doğrudan açıklamaların sınırlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir.</p></abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
                            <p>This study aims to evaluate the Ministry of National Education&#039;s (2018) Preschool Special Education Curriculum for Individuals with Special Needs aged 37-78 months through the lens of the six core concepts outlined by the Sexuality Information and Education Council of the United States of America (SIECUS, 2004). The research adopts a descriptive approach, utilizing document analysis as the primary method for data collection. The study identifies and categorizes explanations and concepts pertaining to sexuality education within the curriculum, organizing findings according to the six main concepts identified by SIECUS (2004). The analysis reveals that while the curriculum incorporates objectives, developmental areas, and achievements related to sexual education and its components, the predominant focus lies within the domain of personal skills, with comparatively less emphasis on society and culture, human development, sexual behavior, and sexual health. Specifically, sexual education explanations are primarily situated within the context of social-emotional development. Overall, the study finds that direct discussions concerning sexual education within the curriculum are limited in scope.</p></trans-abstract>
