                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu araştırma iki temel amaç üzerine kurgulanmıştır. İlki öğretmenlerin yaşamlarında sahip oldukları anlamın varlığı ve anlam arayışları ile psikolojik sağlamlıkları ve yaşam doyumları arasındaki ilişkinin saptanmasıdır. İkincisi ise öğretmenlerin yaşamlarındaki anlamın varlığının ve anlam arayışlarının, psikolojik sağlamlıkları ve yaşam doyumları üzerinde anlamlı birer yordayıcı olup olmadığının belirlenmesidir. Bu amaçlar doğrultusunda, değişkenlerin arasında bulunan ilişkiyi belirlemek adına ilişkisel model tercih edilmiştir. Uygun örnekleme yöntemi kullanılarak çalışma grubu oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmacılarca hazırlanmış olan çevrimiçi anket formu, Türkiye&#039;deki öğretmenler arasında yaygın olarak kullanılan sosyal medya ağlarında paylaşılmış ve 441 gönüllü katılımcı (234 kadın ve 207 erkek) öğretmene ulaşılmıştır. Katılımcı öğretmenlerin yaş ortalaması 41.21’dir (±10.63). Araştırmanın verileri, araştırmacılarca tasarlanan demografik bilgi formu, Yetişkin Yılmazlık Ölçeği, Yaşam Doyumu Ölçeği ve Yaşamda Anlam Ölçeği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Öğretmenlerin yaşamlarında sahip oldukları anlamın varlığı ve anlam arayışları ile psikolojik sağlamlıkları ve yaşam doyumları arasındaki ilişki pearson korelasyon katsayısı ve hiyerarşik çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizleriyle incelenmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları, öğretmenlerin psikolojik sağlamlıkları ve yaşam doyumları ile yaşamlarında sahip oldukları anlamın varlığının pozitif, yaşamlarındaki anlam arayışlarının ise negatif yönde anlamlı ilişki içerisinde olduğunu göstermiştir. Ayrıca öğretmenlerin yaşamlarında sahip oldukları anlamın varlığı ve anlam arayışları, psikolojik sağlamlıklarının ve yaşam doyumlarının anlamlı birer yordayıcılarıdır. Elde edilen sonuçlar, mevcut alanyazın ışığında değerlendirilmiş ve gelecekte yapılacak araştırmalar için öneriler sunulmuştur.</p></abstract>

                            <p>This research is based on two main purposes. The first one is to determine the relationship between the presence of meaning in teachers&#039; lives and their search for meaning and their resilience and life satisfaction. The second is to determine whether the presence of meaning in teachers&#039; lives and their search for meaning are significant predictors of their resilience and life satisfaction. For these purposes, the relational model was preferred to determine the relationship between the variables. The study group was formed by using convenience sampling method. The online questionnaire form prepared by the researchers was shared on social media networks widely used among teachers in Turkey and 441 voluntary participant teachers (234 female and 207 male) were reached. The average age of the participant teachers was 41.21 (±10.63). The data were obtained using the demographic information form designed by the researchers, the Resilience in Midlife Scale, the Satisfaction With Life Scale and the Meaning in Life Questionnaire. The relationship between the presence of meaning in teachers&#039; lives and their search for meaning, their resilience and life satisfaction was examined using Pearson correlation coefficient and hierarchical multiple linear regression analyses. The results of the study showed that teachers&#039; resilience and life satisfaction were positively correlated with the presence of meaning in their lives and negatively correlated with their search for meaning in their lives. In addition, the presence of meaning in teachers&#039; lives and their search for meaning are significant predictors of their resilience and life satisfaction.  The results obtained were evaluated in the light of the existing literature and suggestions for future research were presented.</p></trans-abstract>
