The primary objective of our research is to illustrate the formation and development of Quranic con-cepts through a central example. For this purpose, the word "nimet," which appears in the Quran's earliest messages, and the verb "in'âm/to bring about a blessing/İn‘âm," derived from it, are chosen as examples. This example aims to demonstrate how its original, lived meaning is formed, developed, and completed. In doing so, the time-space-addressee-process chain that constitutes the original context of the Quranic message is identified, and the continuity of the theme attached to this chain is demonstrated through its chronological development. A fundamental shortcoming of the mea-nings presented in lexicons and tafsir books is that Quranic messages are not based on the tracking and measurement of this continuity. This shortcoming stems from the failure to examine meaning within the framework of the biography of the Prophet and the ignorance of the chronology of revela-tion in biography works. Therefore, in determining meaning, the linguistic meaning, which relies on the dictionary, cannot be distinguished from the semantic meaning, which relies on usage. The se-mantic meaning used cannot be gathered within a thematic unity appropriate to its context. At this point, it is necessary to distinguish between the purely thematic type of meaning and the chronolo-gical thematic type, which develops over time. The "original meaning," appropriate to the process and development of a concept that develops over time in a historical, social, and cultural world, can only be determined within a chronological and thematic unity. Based on these approaches, our rese-arch aims to identify and demonstrate the chronological, thematic, and factual (experienced and expressed) meaning of attaining and completing the blessing/İn‘âm of revelation. After determining the lived meaning of the blessing/İn‘âm, this meaning was confirmed from the Prophet's biography and the memoirs of the Companions. This demonstrates the possibility of a commentary that priori-tizes the biography throughout.
Araştırmamızın temel amacı Kur'an kavramların oluşumunu ve gelişimini merkezi bir örnekle göster-meye çalışmaktır. Bunun için Kur'an'ın ilk mesajlarından itibaren geçen 'nimet' kelimesi ve bu kelime-den türeyen 'in'âm/nimete erdirmek' fiili örnek olarak seçilmiştir. Bu örnekle yaşanmış orijinal anla-mının nasıl oluştuğu, geliştiği ve tamamlandığı gösterilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bunu yaparken Kur'an mesa-jının orijinal bağlamını oluşturan zaman-mekân-muhatap-süreç zinciri bulunarak bu zincirin halkala-rına asılan konunun sürekliliği kronolojik gelişimiyle gösterilmiştir. Lügat ve tefsir kitaplarında verilen anlamların temel eksiği Kur'an mesajların bu süreğenlik olgusunun takip ve ölçümüne dayanmaması-dır. Bu eksiklik anlamın siyer ilmi ekseninde incelenmemesinden ve siyer eserlerindeki nüzul kronolo-jisinin görmezden gelinmesinden kaynaklanmaktadır. Bu nedenle anlamın tespitinde lügatı esas alan dilbilimsel anlam ile kullanımı esas alan semantik anlamı birbirinden ayırt edilememektedir. Kullanı-lan semantik anlam da bağlamına uygun tematik bir bütünlük içinde toplanamamaktadır. İşte bu noktada anlamın salt tematik şekilde oluşan türü ile zamanla gelişerek oluşan kronolojik tematik türünü birbirinden ayırmak gerekir. Tarihi, sosyal ve kültürel bir dünyada zamanla oluşan bir kavra-mın sürecine ve gelişimine uygun şekildeki 'orijinal anlam'ı ancak kronoljik ve tematik bir bütünlük içinde belirlenebilir. Araştırmamız bu yaklaşımlardan hareketle vahiy nimetine ermenin ve vahiy ni-metinin tamamlanmasının kronolojik, tematik ve olgusal (yaşanan ve dile getirilen) anlamını bulmak ve oluşumunu göstermek üzere gelişmiştir. Nimetin yaşanan anlamı tespit edildikten sonra bu anlam, Hz. Peygamber'in siyerinden ve sahabe anılarından teyit edilmiştir. Bu yolla baştan sona siyerin ön planda olduğu bir tefsirin mümkün olduğu da örneklendirilmiştir.
