The purpose of this papar is to give general information about the treatment of iron ores by flotation which is not applied yet 'm our country. Four processes are known for the flotation of iron ores : 1-2) Anionic and cationic collection of iron ores (direct method). 3-4 ) Anionic and cationic collection of siliceous gangue (indirect method). The reagents used and the other factors which effect on these methods, are explained.
