Prophet Muhammad is a guide and advisor to all mankind in all geographies. Recognizing Prophet Muhammad’s life is necessary not only for the formation of correct perception but also for moral education. The importance of role models in all areas of education, especially in moral education, has been presented through scientific researches. Introducing examples from Prophet Muhammad’s life and traditions in religious and moral education courses both embodies the subjects and introduces an appropriate role model for children. In this respect, with the last changes in religious education curricula at the primary and secondary schools, Prophet Muhammad’s life was added to the curriculum of secondary schools as an elective course. In this study, prepared on the basis of field study, the convenience of hadith translations for the children’s perception levels, dealt with in the unit of neatness in the Prophet Muhammad’s life courses for 5th grade teaching materials were investigated. As a result, it was found that the hadis translations in related parts of teaching materials were convenient for the children’s perception levels.
Hazreti Muhammed, insani yönüyle çağları aşan, tüm coğrafyalarda tüm insanlığa örnek olacak bir rehberdir. Onu tanımak doğru bir din algısının oluşmasına yardımcı olacağı gibi ahlak eğitimi için de gereklidir. Eğitimin her alanında bilhassa ahlak eğitiminde rol modelin önemi bilimsel araştırmalarla desteklenerek ortaya konmuştur. Çocuğun din ve ahlak eğitiminde Hz. Muhammed’in hayatından ve sözlerinden örnekler sunmak, verilen konuları somutlaştıracağı gibi çocuğa uygun bir rol model sunacaktır. Bu doğrultuda 2012 yılında yapılan değişiklikle Hz. Muhammed’in Hayatı dersi seçmeli ders olarak ortaokul programlarında yer almıştır. Saha araştırması temelinde hazırladığımız bu çalışmada, Hz. Muhammed’in hayatı dersi 5. sınıf öğretim materyali temizlik ünitesinde yer alan hadis çevirilerinin çocukların algı düzeylerine uygunluğu incelenmiştir. Yapılan inceleme sonucunda öğretim materyallerinin ilgili bölümündeki hadis çevirilerinin çocukların algı düzeyine uygun olduğu görülmüştür
