Extremely rare combination of diseases: Partial venous return anomaly and aortic dissection

Abstract

Anomalous pulmonary venous drainage (APVD) is a rare congenital anomaly in which one or more pulmonary veins connect to the
right atrium, inferior or superior vena cava, azygous vein, or coronary sinus instead of the left atrium. APVD can be divided into two
different types: total (TAPVD) and partial anomalous pulmonary venous drainage (PAPVD). We present an incidentally diagnosed
PAPVD in a type one aortic dissection patient.
