Bu makale, son dönemde uluslararası yazında yeniden değerlendirilmeye başlanan bağımlılık ilişkilerine güncel olgular ve kuramsal tartışmalar ışığında yaklaşarak konuya günümüze ait, kapsamlı ve yapılandırılmış bir yorum getirmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada, ilgili Türkçe literatürde doğrudan ve bütüncül biçimde bağımlılığı ele alan çalışmaların halen yetersiz kaldığı vurgulanarak günümüzde bağımlılık ilişkilerinin gelişmekte olan ülkelerdeki kalkınma süreçlerini nasıl şekillendirdiği ele alınmaktadır. Bu bağlamda hızla küreselleşen üretim ve finans ilişkilerinin bağımlılıkların yeniden üretilmesindeki rolüne dikkat çekilmektedir.</p>
