Codling moth, Cydia pomonella (L.) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) is the main pest in apple production. The role of the mating-disruption pheromone dispenser in codling moth control was studied in this work. This studies were carried out in the research orchards of Fruit Research Institute Directorate in 2020; In 2021, it was carried out in orchards where apple producers carry out commercial production. In the first year of study; in an 18 decare apple trial garden, there was a 0% damage rate as a result of the application of a pheromone dispensers (100 piece/da) and insecticide against the first generation three times. In a four decare apple garden, 71% damage rate was obtained with the application of only a pheromone dispensers (100 piece/da) and 50% damage rate was detected in the five-decare orchards where insecticide was applied 13 times. In 2021, 70000 pheromone dispensers were applied on a total of 700 decares in the apple orchards of 30 producers in Tepeli and Eyüpler villages, and pest monitoring and fruit inspections were carried out in monitoring traps. One grower did not apply insecticide in the orchard. A grower once; one grower three times; 28 growers completed the season with five insecticides applications. The damage rate in producer gardens where different amounts of pesticides were applied was 0%.
Elma içkurdu, Cydia pomonella (L.) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) elma üretiminde ana zararlı konumundadır. Bu çalışmada çiftleşme engelleyici feromon yayıcıların elma içkurdu mücadelesindeki yeri araştırılmıştır. Çalışmalar 2020 yılında, Meyvecilik Araştırma Enstitüsü Müdürlüğünün araştırma bahçelerinde; 2021 yılında ise elma üreticilerinin ticari üretim yaptığı bahçelerde gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışmanın ilk yılında 18 dekar elma deneme bahçesinde feromon yayıcı (100 adet/da) uygulaması ve üç kez ilk döle karşı insektisit uygulanması sonucu %0, dört dekar elma bahçesinde sadece feromon yayıcı (100 adet/da) uygulaması ile %71 ve 13 kez insektisit uygulaması yapılan beş dekarlık bahçede ise %50 zarar oranı tespit edilmiştir. 2021 yılında Tepeli ve Eyüpler köylerindeki 30 üretici bahçesinde toplam 700 dekarda 70000 feromon yayıcı uygulanmış ve izleme tuzaklarında zararlı takipleri ve meyve incelemeleri yapılmıştır. Bu bahçelerde bir üretici insektisit uygulaması yapmaz iken bir üretici bir kez; bir üretici üç kez; 28 üretici ise beş kez insektisit uygulaması ile sezonu tamamlamıştır. Farklı sayıda pestisit uygulaması yapılan üretici bahçelerinde zarar oranı %0 olarak tespit edilmiştir.
