                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu çalışmada Limra kireçtaşı numunelerinin bilgisayar kontrollü makine (CNC) ile işlenmesinde en düşük yüzey pürüzlülüğünün elde edilmesinde Taguchi deney tasarımı yöntemi kullanılarak uygun işleme parametreleri belirlenmiştir. Deneysel çalışmalarda, ticari ismi Finike Limra olan sedimanter kökenli doğaltaş üzerine 6 mm çapında karbür kesici uç kullanılarak işleme yapılmıştır. İşleme parametreleri; 2000, 2500, 3000 m/dk ilerleme hızı, 169 m/dk (9000 devir), 188 m/dk (10000 devir) 207 m/dk (11000 devir) kesme hızı ve 1, 2, 3 mm kesme derinliğidir. Taguchi deney tasarım yöntemiyle oluşturulan L9 ortogonal dizini dikkate alınarak deneyler gerçekleştirilmiştir. İşleme parametrelerinin optimum seviyelerini belirlemek için “daha küçük daha iyi” yaklaşımına dayanan S/N (Sinyal Değeri/Gürültü Faktörü) oranı kullanılmıştır. Varyans analizi yöntemiyle işleme parametrelerinin yüzey pürüzlülüğü üzerindeki etkileri değerlendirilmiştir. Sonuç olarak 1 mm derinlik, 207 m/dk kesme hızı ve 3000 m/dk ilerleme hızı parametrelerinde en küçük yüzey pürüzlülüğü değerine ulaşılmıştır. İstatistiksel analiz sonucunda kesme derinliği ve kesme hızı parametrelerinin yüzey işlemede etkili parametreler oldukları belirlenmiştir.</p></abstract>
