Toplumsal Anlatı Dili Olarak Animasyonun Kullanılması ve Kısa Animasyon Filmi Balance'ın Örnek Olarak İrdelenmesi

Öz

Film, eğlence sektörünün bir parçası olmasının yanı sıra karmaşık toplumsal ve bireysel meseleleri etkili ve erişilebilir biçimde izleyiciye aktarabilen güçlü bir sanat formudur. Animasyon ise sembolik anlatım diliyle, film sektöründeki bu aktarımı yaratıcı bir şekilde gerçekleştirebilecek en önemli alandır. Animasyon toplumsal konuları izleyicilere iletmekte oldukça etkilidir. Toplumsal anlatı dili olarak animasyonun kullanımıysa toplumsal mesajları güçlü bir görsel anlatım diliyle sunma olanağını verir. Animasyon gibi üretim formları sadece belli yaş gruplarına hitap etmez. Toplumun her yaş grubundaki bireyine etki etmektedir ve bu durum dikkat edilmesi gereken bir konudur. Balance (1989) gibi kısa animasyonların toplumda bıraktığı etki, kitlelere yön verebilecek güce sahiptir. Balance’ta sembolik anlamların, sanatsal ve görsel dilin, toplumsal güç dengesinin, sosyal yapının, bireyciliğin ve etik değerlerin etkili bir şekilde işlendiği görülmektedir. Makale, animasyonun sadece eğlence aracı olarak görülmemesi gerektiğini vurgulamaktadır. Devletlerin ve toplumların aksaklıklarının, yalın ve sembolik bir dille ifade edilemeyeceği konular vardır. İnceleme, animasyonun bu konuları anlatabilecek en önemli sanatsal form olduğunu göstermeyi hedefler.

Using Animation as a Social Narrative Language and Examining the Short Animated Film Balance as an Example

Öz

Film, in addition to being a part of the entertainment industry, is a powerful art form that can convey complex social and individual issues to the audience in an effective and accessible way. Animation, with its symbolic narrative language, is the most important field in the film industry that can creatively realize this transmission. Animation is very effective in conveying social issues to the audience. The use of animation as a social narrative language allows the presentation of social messages with a strong visual narrative language. Production forms such as animation do not only appeal to certain age groups. It affects individuals of every age group in society, and this is an issue that needs to be taken into consideration. The impact that short animations such as Balance have on society has the power to guide the masses. It is seen that symbolic meanings, artistic and visual language, social power balance, social structure, individualism and ethical values are effectively processed in Balance (1989). The article emphasizes that animation should not be seen as a mere means of entertainment. There are issues where the shortcomings of states and societies cannot be expressed in a simple and symbolic language. The review aims to show that animation is the most important artistic form that can express these issues.
