Capgrasbelirtilerinin çeşitli psikiyatrik bozukluklarda görüldüğü ve değişik etyolojikfaktörlerin sorumlu olduğu üzerinde durulmuştur.
Classified as adelusional misidentification syndrome, The Capgras Syndrome is first describedby Capgras and Reboul-Lachaux in 1923. This syndrome is a disorder in which aperson holds a delusion that a friend, spouse, parent, or other close familymember has been replaced by an identical-looking impostor. The delusion iscommon in patients diagnosed with various psychiatric disorder and the etiologyis described as multifactorial. In this paper, we describe a Capgras Syndromecase, co-morbid with vitamin B12 deficiency which responded to pharmacologicaltreatment with B12 replacement. In literature, there are few reports which callattention to the relation of Capgras syndrome and B12 deficiency. In therestricted knowledge of the etiology of this syndrome, we want to address theimportance of medical evaluation of the patients with this syndrome.
</trans-abstract>
