<p>This study aimed to reveal the views of psychological counselors regarding the connection between the concept of wellness and the field of psychological counseling, and what they do to enhance their own and their clients&#039;/students&#039; wellness. In this study, a descriptive qualitative research method was used to examine the views of psychological counselors on wellness. The participants of the study consisted of 128 psychological counselors. Participants were reached online and asked three open-ended questions, and their written responses were evaluated using thematic analysis. According to the research findings, only half of the psychological counselors seem to have an idea about the concept of wellness. Among the participants, there were those who established the connection between the concept of wellness and the field of psychological counseling from a professional perspective, as well as those who established this connection based on their own wellness. It was observed that participants predominantly rated their own wellness as good or moderate and that they tried different ways to enhance their wellness. The impression was gained that the activities carried out by psychological counselors to enhance the wellness of their clients/students were not numerous, not explained in detail, and were conducted unsystematically. The findings were interpreted as indicating that the lack of clarity in psychological counselors&#039; views on the concept of wellness and their practices in this area suggests their need for in-service training on this subject</p></trans-abstract>
