Lipoma İn the Bladder Mucosa With MRI Supported: Case Report

Abstract

Lipomas are typically encapsulated benign tumors found in the skin, central nervous system, or gastrointestinal system. Lipomas of the bladder wall are rare tumors with limited reported cases. We present a case of a 62-year-old male patient who presented to our outpatient clinic with complaints of hematospermia. During diagnostic cystourethroscopy, an incidental lesion on the dome of the bladder was detected and resected for further examination. Follow-up MRI revealed that the size of the lesion remained unchanged. Despite their rarity, bladder wall lipomas should be considered in the differential diagnosis of bladder tumors.

Mesane Mukozasında MRI Destekli Lipom: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Lipomlar tipik olarak ciltte, merkezi sinir sisteminde veya gastrointestinal sistemde bulunan kapsüllü iyi huylu tümörlerdir. Mesane duvarının lipomları sınırlı sayıda vaka bildirilen nadir tümörlerdir. Hematospermi şikayetiyle polikliniğimize başvuran 62 yaşında bir erkek hastayı sunuyoruz. Tanısal sistoüretroskopi sırasında mesane kubbesinde tesadüfen bir lezyon tespit edildi ve daha ileri inceleme için rezeke edildi. Takip MRI lezyonun boyutunun değişmediğini gösterdi. Nadir olmalarına rağmen mesane duvarı lipomları mesane tümörlerinin ayırıcı tanısında düşünülmelidir.
