Anderson-Fabry disease is a very rare hereditary disease. It affects the entire body. Globotriacylceramide accumulates especially in the kidneys, myocardium, pancreas and lungs. All this accumulation can increase the risks of general anesthesia. Therefore, regional anesthesia methods can be used. We aimed to share with our anesthesia experience in a patient with Anderson-Fabry disease who was operated due to calcaneus fracture with ultrasound-guided popliteal block and sedation.
