Localized Leiomyoblastoma Of The Stomach
A case of localized leiomyoblastoma of the stomach was pre¬sented. 76 years old, male, patient was admitted to our hospital with one month history of melena, dizziness and weakness. Radiologic studies of upper gastrointestinal system showed a filling defect on lesser curvature of the stomach. A mass which ise projected into lumen of the stomach and ulceration was seen on gastroscopy. Preliminary biopsy material was reported as a chronic gastric ulcer. After distal, subtotal gastrectomy was performed, leiomyoblastoma ct the stomach was the final diagnosis. Because of the leiomyo¬blastoma of the stomach is an uncommon pathology, this case was reported and was discussed on the basis of clinical and pathological findings.
