The anastomotic arteries between the superior mesenteric artery and the inferior mesenteric artery in newborn infants.
✓ The anastomotik arteries between the superior mesenteric artery (AMS) and the inferior mesenteric artery (AMI) in 46 fullterm newborn infants which are in normal birth weight were observed. Three anastomic arteries were found between the AMS and the AMI. In 45.6 percent of the cases, an anostomotic artey which has the same features as the meandering mesenteric artery was detected. The marginal artery fails between the ileocolic artey and the right colic artery in 12.5 percent of the cases. The accessory middle colic artery was found in 10.7 per¬cent of the cases. The result obtained were compared with the results found in literature
✓ Normal doğum tartılı ve miadında 46 yenidoğanda a. mesenterica superior (AMS)'un kolonu kanlandıran dallarını ve varyasyonlarını araştırmak amacıyla yapılan bu çalışmada a.ileocolica'mn daima bulunan ve en az değişkenlik gösteren arter olduğu saptandı. A.colica dextra'nm % 10.8 olguda bulunmadığı, a.colica media'nın tüm olgularda varlığı gözlendi. Olgu¬ların % 10.7'sinde ise, a.colica media accessoria'ya rastlandı. Elde edilen bulgular, literatür bulguları ışığı altında değerlendirildi.
