Bronchogenic Cyst: A Case Report
Bronchogenic cysts result from abnormal budding of the tracheobronchial tree. These are usually located within the middle mediastinum, near the carina. The cyst can produce cough and dyspnea. Chest, radiograph shows a round or oval soft tissue mass in the middle mediastinum. The diagnosis is suggested by computed tomography, which shows a mass of cyst or soft tissue attenuation. In this article, we present a case with bronchogenic cyst causing cough, dyspnea and radiologic findings.
