                                                                                                <abstract><p>Dizosteoartritinde oluşan ağrı ve eklem hareket kısıtlılığını gidermede metal vepolietilen malzemeden imal edilen diz eklem protezleri kullanılmaktadır. Buprotezlerde hastanın yaşı, aktivite düzeyi, kilosu ve ek hastalıkları gibinedenlere bağlı olarak aşınma, gevşeme, dengesizlik ve enfeksiyon gibisorunlarla karşılaşılmaktadır. Bu sorunlara bağlı olarak da protezlerinkullanım ömürleri değişmektedir. Protezlerde görülen bu sorunların çözümü içinprotez tasarımları üzerine yoğun çalışmalar devam etmektedir. Bunlardan biri dearka çapraz bağın görevini yapması için tasarlanan bağkesen total dizprotezidir.  Bağkesen protezlerdeki post-cam değişikgeometrik şekillere göre dizayn edilmesine rağmen ideal tasarımın yapılmasıüzerine çalışmalar devam etmektedir. Bu çalışmada post-cam’deki düz-düz,konveks-konkav ve konkav-konveks olmak üzere üç farklı geometrik temas alanınınvon misses gerilmesine ve kontak basıncına etkileri sonlu elemanlar analizi ilearaştırılarak aşınma üzerindeki etkileri incelendi. Çalışma sonucunda temasyüzeyi alanının artmasının von misses gerilmesi ve kontak basıncını azalttığıve buna bağlı olarak da aşınma miktarının azaldığı tespit edildi. Analizsonuçlarına göre de aşınmanın konkav-konveks temasa dayalı tasarımlarda endüşük olduğu ölçüldü.</p></abstract>
