THE EFFECT OF PUBLIC AND PRIVATE HEALTH EXPENDITURES ON EXPECTED LIFESTYLE IN MIDDLE EAST COUNTRIES

Öz

The aim of this study is to determine the effects of public and private health expenditures on life expectancy at birth in Middle Eastern Countries. For this purpose, the data of 18 Middle Eastern Countries between 2000 and 2018 were analyzed using the Eviews 9 Program. According to the findings, while public and private health expenditures have no effect on life expectancy in the short term, public and private health expenditures have an effect on life expectancy in the long term. Inaddition, it is among the findings that the effect of public health expenditures on life expectancy is higher than that of private health expenditures.
