                                                                                                <abstract><p>Mevcut iş akışı yönetim sistemleri belirli bir iş sürecini uygulayabilmek için önceden bütün adımların ve diğer gerekli tanımların yapılmasını gerektirir. İş akışlarını tasarlamak karmaşık ve zaman alıcı bir iştir. Çoğunlukla gerçekleşen iş süreçleri ile olması istenen süreçler birbirinden farklıdır. Bu nedenle, ideal süreçlerden ziyade gerçekleşen süreçlerin keşfi için çeşitli algoritmalar geliştirilmiştir. Bu algoritmalar için ilk adım, uygulamada olan süreç hakkında detayları içeren olay kayıtlarının elde edilmesidir. Bu çalışmada bilişim teknolojileri (IT) sistemlerinde kayıtlı olan olay kayıtlarını kullanan alfa algoritması tanıtılmıştır. İşe alım süreçlerinde gerçekleştirilen temel faaliyetler ile süreç modelleri oluşturulmuştur. Alfa algoritmasının bir iş akışını başarılı bir şekilde modelleyebildiği gösterilmiştir.</p></abstract>
