                                                                                                <abstract><p>İklim değişikliği özellikle son otuz yılda dünya çapında endişe yaratan sorunlardan biri haline gelmiştir. Bu yüzden küresel ısınmaya sebep olan sera gazı emisyonlarındaki artış yoğun bir şekilde araştırılmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın amacı, 1997-2018 dönemine ait verileri kullanarak Kuzey Amerika Serbest Ticaret Anlaşması’na (Kanada, Meksika, ABD) taraf ülkeler için ekonomik büyüme, ticari açıklık ve CO2 emisyonları arasındaki ilişkiyi incelemektir. Bu doğrultuda çalışmada Pedroni FMOLS, DOLS ve eşbütünleşme testleri kullanılmıştır. Analiz bulgularına göre değişkenler arasında uzun dönemde eşbütünleşme ilişkisi bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca ticari açıklık ve CO2 emisyonları arasında negatif ve anlamlı bir ilişkinin varlığı saptanmıştır. Bununla birlikte çalışmada elde edilen bulgular ekonomik büyüme ve CO2 emisyonu arasındaki ilişkinin Çevresel Kuznets Eğrisi hipotezini desteklediğini ortaya koymaktadır.</p></abstract>
