This article examines ʿAbd al-Ghanī al-Nāblusī's Nasamāt al-Ashār fī Madh al-Nabī al-Mukhtār, a badīʿiyyah dedicated to praising the Prophet Muhammad through the use of at least one literary device in each verse. Such qasidas, which exalt the Prophet with elaborate rhetorical techniques, have captivated literary circles since their emergence. al-Nāblusī, a prominent Sufi figure of the 18th-century Ottoman region, distinguished himself not only with his Badīʿiyyahs but also with various literary works, including travelogues, didactic poems, divans, and commentaries on divans. The badīʿiyyah examined in this study comprises 150 verses. Before delving into its analysis, the article briefly addresses the historical background of badīʿiyyahs and some critiques of the genre, followed by an exploration of al-Nāblusī’s scholarly and literary character. The content of the work is analyzed within the framework of the classical qasida structure in Arabic poetry, and all verses are translated. In the final section, which focuses on the literary arts present in the work, both the techniques that the poet claims to have used for the first time in his own badīʿiyyah and some rarely employed devices are highlighted, with an awareness of the critical perspectives on the badīʿiyyāt genre.
