                                                                                                <abstract><p>Kardan kaplinlerinde  eksenel hareketin serbestliği ara milindeki eksenel kayar mafsal ile sağlanmaktadır. Moment iletimi esnasında kayar mafsalın profil temas yüzeyleri arasında sürtünme kuvvetleri oluşmaktadır (1). Bu çalışmada, ticari bir taşıtın şasi ve askı donanıma kardan şaftı da katılarak sistemin genel kinematik analizi yapılmıştır. Yapılan deneysel çalışmada, taşıt üzerindeki yük değişimine bağlı olarak yaprak yayların deformasyon miktarı ve hızı ölçülmüştür. Oluşturulan modelle, herhangi bir ticari yük taşıtında, kardan şaftının eksenel kayar mafsalındaki şekil değişim miktarı ve hızı taşıt yükü değişimine bağlı olarak ifade edilmiştir. Diğer yandan eksenel kayar mafsalın statik ve dinamik sürtünme katsayıları deneysel olarak tespit edilmiştir. Böylece kayar mafsalda oluşan sürtünme kuvvetinin moment iletim ve taşıt askı donanımlarına etkisi belirlenmiştir.</p></abstract>

                            <p>Universal couplings are forced to axial motion due to kinematical structure of vehicle suspension system during the torque transmission. Hence an axial slider joint is placed on the shaft to allow axial motion. But axial friction force occurs between inner and outer surfaces of the slider joint. This force affects all the transmission system of a vehicle. In this study, axial displacement and velocity analysis of the slider joint of a vehicle was conducted depending on the amount of elastic deformation of the leaf springs. In the experimental study, the amount of elastic deformation of the leaf springs has been determined according to load change of the vehicle. On the other hand static and kinematics friction coefficient of the slider joint have been determined. Thereby, the effect of the friction force on the torque transmission and suspension system of the vehicle has been determined</p></trans-abstract>
