Investigation of the Relationship between Attitudes to Moral Decision Making and Moral Disengagement in Youth Student Basketball Players

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, okul sporu yapan genç basketbolcu öğrencilerin ahlaki karar alma tutumları ile ahlaktan uzaklaşmaları arasındaki ilişkiyi belirlemektir. Katılımcılar Okullar Arası Basketbol Grup Şampiyonası'nda yarışan 98 kız (% 43,4) ve 128 erkek (% 56,6) toplam 223 lise öğrencisi sporcudan oluşmaktaydı. Ortalama yaşları 16,16 yıl ve ortalama spor deneyimleri 6,15 yıl idi. Veri toplama aracı olarak kullanılan her iki ölçek de verilerle kabul edilebilir bir uyum gösterdi. Korelasyon analizi, ahlaktan uzaklaşmanın hile (r = 0.47) ve yarışmaseverlik (r = 0.47) ile pozitif ilişkili olduğunu göstermiştir. Regresyon analizleri, hile, yarışmaseverlik ve adilce kazanmayı koruma (KWIP) değişkenlerinin, sporda ahlaktan uzaklaşmanın toplam varyansının yaklaşık% 31'ini açıkladığını göstermiştir (R=0.554, R2=0.307, p=0.000). Araştırmadan elde edilen kanıtlar, hile ve yarışmaseverlik tutumlarının ahlaktan uzaklaşmanın önemli yordayıcıları olduğunu fakat KWIP'in olmadığını göstermiştir. Hile ve yarışmaseverliği benimseyen sporcu öğrencilerin ahlaktan uzaklaşma mekanizmalarını daha fazla kullanabilecekleri söylenebilir. Buna ek olarak, olumlu sosyal tutumlara sahip olmanın sporcu öğrencilerde ahlaktan uzaklaşmayı azalttığına dair kanıt yoktur.
