This article is composed of four chapters. The first one covers relations between Turkey and Armenia, and the initiative that President Sargsyan has made to open a new phase of dialogue to normalize relations. The second chapter concerns the latest development in Turkey concerning the ‘apology campaign’ launched by a group of Turkish intellectuals in mid December. The third chapter analyzes the latest developments in the Unites States after President Obama’s election. The fourth and final chapter is related to developments regarding the genocide allegations in several countries and the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly resolution concerning the archives and historical researches.
