Bu çalışmada Suriye’de yaşanan kriz nedeniyle Türkiye’de yaşamlarını öğrencilerinin eğitim ve uyum sorunlarına ilişkin genel yaklaşımları ele alınmıştır. Araştırmada Suriyeli üniversite öğrencilerinin eğitim ve uyum sorunlarına ilişkin genel yaklaşımları tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Bu kapsamda öğrencilerin üniversitede eğitim görme ile ilgili tanınan haklara ilişkin bilgisi, üniversitede yaşadıkları eğitimsel sorunlara ilişkin görüşleri, üniversitedeki hocalarının olumlu olumsuz tutumlarına ilişkin görüşleri, üniversitedeki arkadaşlarının olumlu olumsuz tutumlarına ilişkin görüşleri, mezuniyet sonrasına ilişkin görüşleri ile ilgili sorulara verdikleri yanıtlara göre sırasıyla incelenmiştir. Bu çalışma nitel bir durum çalışmasıdır. Çalışma, amaçlı örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenmiş olan Kilis ilinde yaşayan ve Kilis 7 Aralık Üniversitesinde öğrenim görmekte olan 23 Suriyeli öğrenciden elde edilen veriler ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmaya katılan Suriyeli öğrencilerin üniversitede yaşanan eğitimsel sorunlarla ilgili olarak görüşleri incelendiğinde en çok dile getirilen sorunun dil sorunu olduğu görülmektedir. Suriyeli öğrencilerin üniversitede aldıkları eğitim için tanınan olanaklardan haberdar olmadığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Öğrencilerin birçoğu eğitim aldıkları üniversitede hocalarının onlara karşı olumlu tutumları olduğunu ve hocalarının yardımcı olduklarını dile getirirken öğrencilerin bazıları da hocalarının kendilerine yardımcı olmadığını söylemişlerdir. Suriyeli öğrencilerin çoğu üniversitedeki arkadaşların olumlu veya olumsuz tutumları ile ilgili sorulan soruya Türkiyeli arkadaşlarının çok iyi ve yardımsever olduğunu belirterek cevap vermişlerdir
In this study, the education and orientation attitudes of the Syrian college students, who were obliged to leave their homeland due to the crisis going on and are currently studying in Kilis 7 Aralik University, were investigated. In this research, these students’ attitudes on the education and orientation problems were attempted to be diagnosed. In this scope, the students’ knowledge on their educational rights in the college; their thoughts on educational issues, the positive and negative attitudes of their professors and friends in the college, their thoughts about post-graduation were studied according to their responses to each. This is a qualitative case study. He study was conducted with the data obtained from twenty-three Syrian students, living in the Kilis province. Purposeful sampling method was used to determine the data in Kilis 7 Aralik University. According to the results of the research; It is seen that the biggest problem is the language problem when the opinions of the Syrian students participating in the research are examined regarding the educational problems experienced in the college. The result shows that Syrian students are not aware of the opportunities available for them throughout their college education.Many of these students said that they were welcomed with positive attitudes at the college where they are studying, while some other students said that their professors did not help them. Most of the Syrian students’ response to the question about the positive or negative attitudes of their colleagues in the college was that they were very kind and helpful to them
